MACTEC Puts Blake in Charge of Federal Programs

MACTEC Inc., appointed Gene Blake, P.E., business line leader for federal programs.

Blake brings more than 35 years of business development, project management, and engineering experience in both the public and private sector to the firm. He has helped to build and manage a number of leading engineering firms' federal government business with clients including the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and civilian agencies. Blake also served as associate director of the Tufts University Center for Environmental Management.

Blake is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer and received bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering and civil/environmental engineering, respectively, from Tufts University. He is a former adjunct professor in civil and environmental engineering, both with Tufts University.
