EPA Sets Emissions Workshop in February
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will hold a two-day post-conference workshop about the SF6 Emission Reduction Program on Feb. 4-5 at the Hyatt Regency in Phoenix, Ariz.
The workshop, which follows the Energy and Environment Conference Feb. 1-4, will bring together partners of EPA’s voluntary program and other representatives from the electric power industry. Themes include best practices for managing an SF6 gas inventory; training personnel on SF6 gas handling; equipment options for leak detection, monitoring, and repair; and SF6 emissions reductions through recovery, recycling, and reuse.
