KMS Hires New Vice President

Koch Membrane Systems, Inc. (KMS) has hired Li Zhang as vice president – Worldwide Process Engineering. In this newly created position, Zhang will be responsible for managing global process engineering activities and for creating synergy between foreign and domestic engineering groups.

This experience, coupled with his solid engineering background, makes us extremely confident in Li's ability to effectively manage all facets of Koch Membrane Systems' process engineering initiatives worldwide."

Recently, Zhang served as vice president and director of Asia-Pacific for the Advanced Water Treatment division of ITT Fluid Technology in Shanghai. Prior to that, Zhang held positions of increasing responsibility at GE Water & Process Technologies (formerly Ionics) in product and market management after which he served as director of corporate research and development and as the global technology leader for process separations.

Zhang is a graduate of the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, holding both bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering. He will be stationed at the company headquarters in Wilmington, Mass.
