Harvey Williams Joins IPR as Chief Operating Officer

Harvey Williams has been named chief operating officer (COO) of Inland Pipe Rehabilitation (IPR), a provider of underground rehabilitation solutions. In his new role, Williams will be responsible for operations management and overseeing day-to-day activities of the corporation and its 500+ employees nationwide.

Prior to joining IPR, Williams served more than 16 years at General Electric Company. He held multiple leadership roles, including general manager of Renewable Energy Projects, where he led a cross-functional team of 1,500 employees, installing 3,000 machines annually in 17 countries valued at $6.5 billion. Williams is a U.S Marine combat veteran and volunteered for return to Active Duty in the Marine Corps to serve in Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2004, he served as Operations Officer in the 5th Civil Affairs Group and was responsible for directing Civil-Military Operations across the Al-Anbar Province, including the management of $400 million major projects to restore the electrical, water and sewer systems throughout Iraq.

“We are honored to welcome Harvey to the team,” said Joseph Cutillo, chief executive officer. “With many years of operating experience at General Electric, an exceptional level of dedication and his proven ability to successfully manage large-scale, international projects, he is the perfect person to lead the operational side of our business and help take IPR to the next level as we continue growing the company throughout North America by extending our presence geographically and make additional acquisitions.”

Williams received his bachelor's degree in English from Mount Saint Mary’s College, and his master's of science degree in Acquisition and Contract Management from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.
