Flowserve Earns Best Practices Award

Flowserve Corporation of Dallas, Texas, a provider of flow control products and services, has earned a Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Award as the 2009 Global Centrifugal Pumps Growth Excellence Company of the Year.

The award was presented at the Excellence in Industrial Technologies Awards Banquet hosted by <a href="www.frost.com"target="_blank">Frost & Sullivan </a>in San Antonio, Texas, on April 8. Bob Rich, Strategic Marketing director, accepted the award. This is the second time in four years that Flowserve has been recognized for its management and growth excellence.

Frost & Sullivan research analyst Prasanna Mohan noted that the Best Practices Award reflects the Pump Division’s consistent revenue growth through innovative customer value programs, expansion of its global footprint, strong technological expertise, and presence across diverse industries. The company's LifeCycle Advantage™ concept, a collaborative partnership with customers to minimize their total cost of pump system ownership, was cited in the award. Other initiatives included Intelligent Pump Systems, a series of automation and diagnostics solutions enabling customers to optimize asset efficiency, and the company's joint venture with Linde Group (Munich, Germany) to deploy iKompressor™ natural gas and biogas refueling systems.
