ZweigWhite to Issue 'Best Firms' Ranking

Which architecture, civil engineering, environmental services, and structural engineering firms are the best in their industry right now? ZweigWhite will answer that question with its 2008 Best Firms To Work For rankings.

The rankings are based on corporate and employee survey results from firms in each industry. The corporate survey collects data on benefits, compensation, training and mentoring programs, work opportunities, turnover rates, social activities, and more, while the employee survey questions staff about their opinions on their firm, including career development opportunities, benefits, compensation, company culture, company values, and quality of work.

The Best Firms To Work For rankings are sponsored by Architect, ArchitectureWeek, CE News, Environmental Business Journal, Structural Engineer, and The Zweig HR Letter.

Jan Munsinger, manager of human resources for Walter P Moore and a long-time participant in the Best Firms To Work For rankings, says, "It is an award we are pleased to win. We are passionate about this program because it helps our firm improve and gives us validation for what we feel we're doing well. We are getting recognition for our employee practices-- which is great for recruiting and retention." Walter P Moore placed first on the 2007 Best Structural Engineering Firms To Work For ranking.

The 2008 Best Firms To Work For will be announced at the 2008 Best Firm To Work For Summit, to be held Sept. 18-19 in San Francisco.
