Partnerships Offer Innovative Water Filtration Conservation Technologies to the DoD

GreenHouse Holdings Inc., a leading provider of energy efficiency solutions and sustainable facilities products, together with Seychelle Environmental Technologies Inc., a worldwide leader in the development, assembly and sale of proprietary portable water filtration products, will offer a variety of innovative water filtration and conservation technologies to the Department of Defense.

"Water, the single most important life sustaining resource on our planet, is rapidly becoming the single source of conflict around the globe. In the last three decades I have observed the challenges facing our nation and the emerging world over access to clean water. I am extremely excited to partner with Seychelles to bring this unique capability to US soldiers by providing them safe water, regardless of the sources, as they perform humanitarian assistance globally," said Ken Robinson, founder of GreenHouse Holdings. "Our two companies complement each other well with a host of products that promote both portability and sustainability and remain relevant to the national interest."

Under the terms of the agreement, Seychelle has chosen GreenHouse to be its exclusive distributor on Department of Defense RFP's for which water filtration products are applicable. This will allow GreenHouse to expand its menu of sustainable products and allow Seychelle to benefit from GreenHouse's extensive relationships with high-ranking DOD officials and department heads.

The key to Seychelle portable filtration products is the ability to utilize Ionic Adsorption Micron Technology and BIOSAFE to remove up to 99.99 percent of pollutants and contaminants found in drinking water supplies; with bacteria and virus removal in these advanced filters to six logs (99.9999 percent). The filters are made in the USA and have passed the strictest performance tests by government laboratories in the US and sixteen foreign countries using EPA/ANSI protocols, and conforming to NSF Standards 42 and 53. More than 3.5 million filter systems have been sold worldwide to date.

"We are most pleased to join forces with GreenHouse to make available our innovative portable water filtration and purification products to the Department of Defense (DOD), and look forward to being able to supply our military worldwide with water filtration filter systems they need to meet any field conditions they might encounter," said Carl Palmer, president and CEO of Seychelle.

GreenHouse is a past-performance government contractor supplying the U.S. military with a wide range of products from rapidly deployable and ballistically protected buildings to sustainable, environmentally safe targeting systems and live fire training facilities. Effective and portable water filtration is another important step toward a rapidly equipped mobile military.
