AWWA Sets Seminar on Service Rate-Making
On April 21-23, the American Water Works Association will host the Financial Management: Cost of Service Rate-Making seminar.
Financial management, capital finance planning, and rate setting have become critical tasks that demand reliable financial tools. This three-day course is AWWA’s best-selling seminar, and it uses time-honored strategies to teach attendees how to be precise and correct when setting rates.
Held in Savannah, Ga., the seminar will be a valuable opportunity for water utility staff. Attendees will learn to develop defendable policies that are fair, equitable, and objective; evaluate financial policies and rate impacts; and recover the full cost of service with their rates.
