An engineering firm specializing in life sciences facilities is highlighting a new modeling system designed to help equipment suppliers evaluate pharmaceutical water purification technologies during the early stages of project planning.
Genesis AEC developed the platform, called PharmaWater Pro, to provide a comprehensive analytical framework when manufacturers have limited technical data and rely on simplified comparisons. The platform models entire water systems, tracking the process from feed water through purification, storage and distribution.
The software allows engineers to size and configure purification systems, compare alternative technologies and estimate operational parameters. These parameters include energy consumption, water usage, wastewater generation, carbon emissions and operating costs.
The capability helps equipment vendors engage with project stakeholders by providing data-driven comparisons. Because the platform incorporates multiple equipment catalogs and system configurations, engineers can model vendor proposals against project parameters to identify advantages in energy efficiency, maintenance or lifecycle performance.
The modeling capability is delivered through engineering services rather than as standalone software.
