New Name and Lead Testing Kit for DzymeTech

DzymeTech changes its name to ANDalyze and receives new funding as it prepares the launch of new products for Real-time Water Testing for Heavy Metals using the power of DNA DzymeTech has changed its name to ANDalyze, which has developed catalytic DNA biosensor technologies for detection of heavy metals and various other chemicals. The first product will be a lead testing kit for water.

The company has developed a methodology for detecting and quantifying chemical levels based on the recent discovery of the catalytic properties of DNA. This technology and product is a universal platform that offers simple, fast, inexpensive and reliable detection of trace metals and other target chemicals. ANDalyze was founded by Dr. Yi Lu at the University of Illinois and Illinois Ventures.
