NSF Certifies EverPEX for Potable Water Use
JM Eagle, a manufacturer of plastic pipe, has completed NSF Certification for its EverPEX(TM) five-layered cross-linked polyethylene tubing. The product now is available for use in potable water applications.
EverPEX achieved certification by completing physical performance testing in accordance with ASTM F876/F877, CSA B137.5, and NSF Standard 14; chlorine resistance testing in accordance with ASTM F2023; chemical extraction testing in accordance with ANSI/NSF Standard 61; and validation of HDS in accordance with PPI TR-3 at temperatures of 73 F, 180 F and 200 F.
