Ariz. Association Honors Three HDR Engineers

Three engineers from HDR’s Phoenix office were honored at the recent 82nd annual Arizona Water Association (AZ Water) Conference. They are Don Manthe, Tom Galeziewski, and Jim Pembroke, all Phoenix-based engineers from HDR’s water business group.

Manthe was elected the 73rd president of the association that serves as the Arizona section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Arizona member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF). Galeziewski was honored as the association’s Water Engineer of the Year. Pembroke was named the recipient of WEF’s Arthur Sidney Bedell Award.

Manthe, who is the managing principal of HDR’s Arizona offices, was elected in recognition of his more than 25 years of leadership serving the water/wastewater industry in the state of Arizona.

Galeziewski, senior professional associate, was recognized for his contributions to the water/wastewater industry, as well as his work for AZ Water, WEF, and AWWA over the last 25 years.
