AWWA Merges E-Pubs for Members
The American Water Works Association has merged E-MainStream and WaterWeek into the biweekly Streamlines newsletter.
The first issue, now online, looks at the upcoming stimulus package from Congress and how utilities, consultants, and manufacturers in the water industry are dealing with the current economy.
The newsletter will bring readers stories about regulatory and legislative developments, industry issues and trends, utility practices, research and new technologies, along with information about the AWWA community and resources.
“The decision to create the new publication was based on several reader surveys,” said Gary Zimmerman, AWWA executive director. “Seventy percent of the readers in the last survey asked for a single, brief e-newsletter from AWWA for industry and association news.”
Delivered by e-mail and posted on the AWWA Web site (www.awwa.org), the publication is a benefit of AWWA membership. All members are eligible if they provide AWWA with their e-mail address; readers can contact AWWA Customer Service if they want to add or change their e-mail address.
