Gannett Fleming Acquires RAM Group
Gannett Fleming, Inc., a Houston, Texas-based international planning, design, and construction management firm, has acquired the Risk Assessment & Management Group, Inc. (RAM Group), an environmental consulting firm focusing on the area of cost-effective management of contaminated sites using risk-based decision making process, according to a recent press release.
The RAM Group is comprised of highly qualified, talented, technical professionals with considerable regulatory, industrial, and research backgrounds. The experience and success of the technical staff is among the best across the country in risk-based decision making. RAM Group offers strong working relationships with regulatory decision makers, expert-level human health risk assessment services, litigation support and expert witness testimony, full-service site investigation and remediation project management, and field sampling services.
RAM Group founder, Atul Salhotra, Ph.D., will serve as a vice president of Gannett Fleming. He is internationally recognized for his knowledge in fate and transport modeling and human health risk and is one of the six original ASTM approved Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA) trainers.
Active in professional associations, Salhotra is a member of the American Chemical Society, Association of Groundwater Scientists and Engineers, Society for Risk Analysis, and National Water Well Association.
