MACTEC Appoints Corkle West Division Manager
MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc. has named D. Bruce Corkle, P.E., West Division manager, according to a press release. This division has approximately 640 employees and accounts for $109 million in annual revenue.
Corkle, who will be relocating to California, most recently served as Midwest Area Manager, overseeing operations in Chicago and Peoria, Ill.; Lincoln, Neb.; St. Louis and Kansas City, Mo.
He joined the firm in 1995 and has over 30 years of consulting experience, particularly in process design and civil site development. Corkle is one of the company's leaders in environmental process engineering for the metals and metal finishing industries and is a co-inventor of patented process to reduce recycled process water. Two of his projects also received the Illinois Governor's Award for Pollution Prevention.
Corkle is a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. He has a bachelor's degree in engineering mathematics from the University of Tulsa and a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Corkle is a member of NSPE and ASCE.
