Contractors Offer Online Water Efficiency Course
The Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Chicago presents "Water Efficiency and How It Relates to Green Building," an online green building/water conservation course presented by Jim Allen of the Sloan Valve Co., according to an Aug. 7 release.
MCA Chicago's course is designed to inform member contractors about the importance of water conservation, as well as ways to improve water efficiency in a building project.
The online course covers how different industries use water and provides an overview of national conservation initiatives. Upcoming technologies and emerging trends to conserve water are also discussed.
Building owners, developers, and designers are encouraged to view the course so they can find out more about the value of LEED and water conservation, and also learn the importance of working with a trained contractor.
