Project-focused Water for People Needs a CEO

Water for People is seeking a chief executive officer, according to a notice on the Water Environment Federation's Web site, www.wef.org.

Water for People is a not-for-profit organization that has an 18-year history of developing water and sanitation projects throughout 11 countries in Central America, South America, Africa and India.

The chief executive officer is the organization’s top executive responsible for managing a staff of professionals both in the United States and within the countries it serves. Key responsibilities include implementing the Board of Directors' strategic plan, managing the organization, developing and building donor relationships, and developing relationships with international partners including nongovernmental organizations and local government officials.
