HDR Promotes Chapman, Hugh
HDR, an architecture, engineering, and consulting firm has promoted Matt Chapman, P.E., to marketing manager, and Dennis Hugh, P.E., to section manager. Both are based in the firm’s Las Vegas office.
In addition to serving as a technical resource on water projects, Chapman will provide strategic leadership and planning for the water marketing program. He will focus on client service and developing programs and resources.
Hugh will focus on quality service, project management fundamentals, and delivering projects on time and on budget. He has served in management and leadership roles for water and wastewater projects throughout Nevada and the western states for over 35 years.
Chapman has managed a variety of projects in his 15 years with HDR including the $97 million expansion of the city of Las Vegas’ water pollution control facility. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
Hugh is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers; American Water Works Association’s California/Nevada section; Water Environment Federation; Nevada Water Environment Association; Nevada Water Resource Association; and the American Council of Engineering Companies. He holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
