OmniSite Introduces New Software
OmniSite, a Greenwood, Ind.-based supplier of monitoring equipment for the wastewater industry, plans to remain the low-cost leader for cellular monitoring equipment in the wastewater industry, according to a Nov. 8 press release.
Beginning this winter, the company will begin to transition its customers to GuardDog!, a free software upgrade that provides an intuitive interface that allows users to manage their pumping station monitors over the Internet from any computer.
At its national sales meeting in September, the company revealed the new Viper, which will be available in limited distribution in 2009. Senior Engineer Ken Strong states that, "The new Viper will be simple to install, simple to use, cost effective, and most importantly, innovative. Simply put, it will change how wastewater professionals monitor their sewage lift stations."
