Does last week's earthquake-inspired scare at a Japanese nuclear power plant make you reconsider your support for nuclear energy?

No, the system has safeguards installed
I don't support nuclear power
I haven't made up my mind

I think there is one important thing missing from the main news. Somebody should remind, what is the worst scale of this nuclear accident compared to what happened a) in Tshernobyl b) in Hiroshima and c) what would happen if the existing nuclear weapons would be used. This chain of events has been very sad, no question about it, but it is very far from what would happen in another nuclear war.

I worry because the safeguards are designed by humans!!

There were some design flaws in the total system, but it withstood the earthquake. The effect of the tidal wave is what has caused the failure.
