A combination of technologies makes the Grundfos SL an efficient option for sewage pumping stations in municipal network systems. The same advantages apply to sewage, effluent and surface water pumping stations in connection with commercial buildings. The right impeller, an EFF1-type motor with or without frequency converter, a prefabricated pumping station, and a controller will create a pumping set-up to suit each situation. To indicate service needs, analogue sensors monitor trends in motor temperature, water-in-oil in the intermediate oil chamber, and motor insulation resistance. An I/O 111 module equips the SL for any data communication task ahead. The epoxy-filled, stainless-steel cable plug provides a totally sealed cable entry, eliminating the risk of water entering the motor through the cable.
