Benchmark Gensuite has announced major enhancements to its Refrigerant Leak Manager platform, positioning the company ahead of the stricter refrigerant-management regulations the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will implement on January 1, 2026.
Formerly known as ODS Sentinel, the updated solution is built to help facilities stay compliant with upcoming requirements tied to the Clean Air Act’s Section 608 program, the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act, and new federal expectations surrounding high-GWP refrigerants. The newest release incorporates equipment-specific leak-rate thresholds directly into the workflow, reducing manual tracking and improving accuracy for facility managers and environmental teams.
Key upgrades include automated calculations for revised leak-rate limits, expanded chemical libraries to reflect a wider range of regulated refrigerants and substitutes, and integrated tools designed to streamline monitoring, recordkeeping, and corrective-action management. Together, these updates aim to help organizations manage their refrigerant systems more proactively as national standards tighten.
Benchmark Gensuite CEO R. Mukund said the company’s priority is ensuring customers are prepared before the 2026 deadline and able to maintain compliance without operational disruption. He noted that the platform’s embedded regulatory updates and intelligence-driven workflows are intended to simplify complex compliance requirements while supporting broader sustainability goals.
The company also plans to introduce its Genny AI capabilities into the Refrigerant Leak Manager in early 2026, expanding automation and predictive-insight features to further support environmental performance and regulatory readiness.
Benchmark Gensuite provides digital EHS, Sustainability, Quality, and Risk-management solutions to more than three million users worldwide.
