EPA Marks 200 Days with 200 Environmental Actions

The agency reports continued progress across air, land and water protection, including major cleanups, pollution control, and water infrastructure investments.

The EPA has announced the completion of 200 environmental actions in the first 200 days of the current administration. According to the agency, the milestone reflects its ongoing commitment to advancing environmental quality and public health through focused initiatives.

Among the achievements are expanded Superfund cleanups, Brownfields redevelopment grants, PFAS and lead reduction funding, permitting improvements, and strategic partnerships with state, tribal, and local governments. The EPA also highlighted its efforts to reduce regulatory backlogs, address climate-related impacts on water infrastructure, and support technical assistance in small and rural communities.

While the agency has not released a full list of actions, its announcement points to measurable progress across multiple environmental priorities, including clean water access, hazardous waste remediation, air quality enforcement, and coastal and drinking water protection.
