Elytus, a waste services firm based in Columbus, Ohio, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this week and the "Waste Nothing" motto its customers appreciate. The company says its technology solution, WINStream, transparently connects trash haulers to clients, audits waste streams for savings and environmental optimization, and helps reduce the operational waste of time, money, and human resources.

The company provides waste management and environmental services to its clients, focusing on recycling and sustainability. Its proprietary software helps clients manage their waste disposal contracts, recycling efforts, and environmental initiatives. The philosophy extends to its headquarters; the office features repurposed woods and metals, electric car charging stations, and a focus on zero-waste sustainability practices.

Elytus CEO Dr. Alan Dillman started Elytus in 2007 after meeting Matthew S. Hollis, now the company's co-founder and president, through an incubator Dillman was running, The Center for Business Innovation at Cedarville University. They saw a market opportunity to provide better waste solutions for chain retailers, such as restaurants and grocery stores. Today, the company helps more than 10,000 locations track their waste, reduce their hauling costs, and implement waste minimization strategies.
