Texas Rangers Sign Entic to Bring Greater Efficiency to Globe Life Park

Increased operational visibility, savings and a greener stadium are the goal with Entic’s technology.

Entic has been chosen by Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Texas Rangers to provide its real-time energy analytics to Globe Life Park in Arlington. The company’s technology will allow the ballpark’s management and staff to gain enhanced visibility into the facility’s major energy consuming systems and provide actionable insight to optimize performance.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Texas Rangers franchise and for the chance to demonstrate how our technology helps sports venues and other large buildings achieve year-round efficiency and financial impact,” said Carlos Diaz, CEO of Entic.  Globe Life Park is the fifth MLB venue to sign with Entic.

“We are excited to collaborate with Entic to bring this state-of-the-art technology to Globe Life Park in Arlington.” said Sean Decker, Vice President, Ballpark Operations at Texas Rangers Baseball Club. “This partnership is a reflection of our continuing emphasis on energy efficiency and we are thrilled to be among the early adopters of Entic’s solution.”

Globe Life Park in Arlington is approximately 1.5 million square feet and has the capacity to accommodate 50,000 attendees. The ballpark includes a four-story commercial building where the Texas Rangers administrative offices are located, as well as many bars and restaurants with direct visibility of the field. Characterized by hot, humid summers, the Central Texas climate means that air conditioning often makes up a significant portion of energy expenses. The Texas Rangers are seeking to optimize these and other systems by partnering with Entic.
