Two British Plastic Pipe Manufacturers Join TEPPFA

"We look forward to their participation in what has become a successful partnership between the producers of plastic pipe systems and the various national plastic pipe associations that make up our membership," said Tony Calton, general manager of Brussels-based TEPPFA.

Radius Group and Polypipe Group, two major British plastic pipe manufacturing companies, have joined The European Plastic Pipes and Fittings Association, which consists of 15 national associations and now represents 11 European manufacturers of plastic pipe systems, according to a recent TEPPFA announcement.

"As an organization, we are actively engaged in promoting the European plastic pipe industry and working constantly to promote technical standards and environmental sustainability. These two companies have a wide experience in the European market. We look forward to their participation in what has become a successful partnership between the producers of plastic pipe systems and the various national plastic pipe associations that make up our membership," said Tony Calton, general manager of Brussels-based TEPPFA.

The Radius Group has its headquarters in Hilcote. It operates 20 plants and employs more than 7,000 people. The Polypipe Group companies are headquartered in Edington, operate 16 facilities, and manufacture more than 20,000 product lines, with their primary markets in the UK, French, and Irish building and construction sectors with additional presence in Italy and the Middle East.

TEPPFA is hosting a forum March 13-14 in Brussels to discuss market issues, corporate social responsibility, and plastic pipe solutions in challenging situations.
