Med Sled® announced its new partnership as a value added reseller of First Water® mobile water filtration systems. Med Sled® has been developing products to support evacuations during worst-case scenarios; through this partnership, the company will address customers' crucial need for sustainability during emergency operations by offering complete water filtration solutions.
"A clean source of water is a critical element for patient care whether you are sheltering in place or evacuating," said Joe Pandolfo, president of Med Sled®. "With over 850 water disruptions in U.S. facilities every day, we want to ensure this resource is available to those who need it. As a result of this new partnership with First Water, Med Sled is now able to offer our customers fully integrated water purification solutions to ensure a continuous source of water is always available."
First Water manufactures mobile water purification systems that provide a complete turnkey solution for community, facility, or team level water emergencies. Its systems range in capacity from 120 gallons per hour to 1,200 gallons per hour and operate off a variety of power sources, including solar. According to Med Sled, "this capability allows facilities to address important functions such as dialysis, ice production and dish washing, in addition to providing drinking water when it is most needed. The appropriate assortment of equipment can give any size community or facility both the portability and volume needed to successfully mitigate a water disruption."
