Web-Based Compliance System Wins Top Award
The Elektra European Electronics Industry 2014 Environmental Award went to ENVIRON's Environmental Compliance 4 Products, a web-based system that companies use to ensure their compliance with the EU's waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) directive, batteries and packaging.

James Pearson, an ENVIRON consultant, accepted the award at an event in London.
"ENVIRON's WEEE, Batteries and Packaging management tools are an indispensable service in meeting product compliance requirements, and the burden of compliance in terms of cost and time are significantly reduced in what is a constantly changing situation across participating Member States," said Kerrill Grealy, HSE director at Meggitt Sensing Systems.
David Sangster, vice president of Operations for Nutanix Inc., said the system allows his company "to meet our compliance requirements without the need, expense, and complexity of hiring compliance personnel in all 28 EU Member States.
ENVIRON has more than 1,500 employees operating from 92 offices in 21 countries.
