CA-NV Section AWWA Partners with TargetSafety
The AWWA section will leverage the company's platform for its online training and member communication.
The California-Nevada Section, American Water Works Association is partnering with TargetSafety, a company that offers online enterprise risk management solutions for public entities, to power their training offering, H2O Know, as well as increase member communication. Both applications will be available in April. More details will be announced at the group's spring conference on March 28-31 in Long Beach, Calif.
H2O Know uses TargetSafety’s PreventionLink platform to deliver online training in more than 60 water and safety courses to individual water operators, helping them earn contact hours for California and Nevada. Using the platform, water operators can also take advantage of human resource and OSHA curriculum along with section training courses. In addition, water districts can use PreventionLink to maintain records, assign compliance tasks, and manage training programs.
The section will also introduce Connect, a new members-only portal that enables the organization to post announcements, host Web meetings and deliver relevant news, blog posts, and industry resources to all members.
