AWWA Calls for Papers for Distribution, Security Meetings
The American Water Works Association has opened the 2010 Distribution Systems Symposium and Exposition and Water Security Congress Call for Papers.
For the first time, the events will be co-located on Sept. 12-15 in Nashville, Tenn. The co-location is intended to provide presenters, attendees, and exhibitors with the opportunity to benefit from two conferences in the same location, two events for the price of one.
Both conferences will connect water and security professionals for a four-day event that offers professional sessions, technical tours and networking opportunities. Exhibitors will demonstrate the newest in products and services to maintain a safe, high-quality water supply.
Suggested topics for papers include water loss and contamination control, asset management, network modeling, distribution system design, contamination warning systems, physical and cyber security, and security and emergency response.
