Water Reuse Meeting Deadline is Monday
April 13 is the last day to register and save up to $100 on registration for the 13th annual Water Reuse & Desalination Research Conference sponsored by the WateReuse Foundation.
The conference will be May 18-19 at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, Calif.
Organizers of the meeting have added a tour of the Orange County Water District's Groundwater Replenishment System from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. May 17. Cost is $25, and the tour is limited to 24 people. The system takes highly treated wastewater that would otherwise be released back into the environment, and purifies it to near-distilled water quality using microfiltration, reverse osmosis, and UV light with advanced oxidation technologies. The tour will consist of walking through the three major process areas and associated pump stations.
