The city of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada awarded Insituform Technologies Inc., an additional $6 million in sewer pipe rehabilitation work, according to a Jan. 23 press release.
This work was awarded under the company’s current three-year term contract with the city, which is in its second year. Insituform expects to perform approximately 90,000 feet of small- and medium- diameter sanitary sewer lining under this contract award. Work on the project is currently under way and should be completed within 12 months.
“We are excited to continue our work for the city of Hamilton and assist them in their commitment to maintaining their sewer infrastructure. This is our third three-year contract with the city and our eighth consecutive year of providing our cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) sewer lining services for the city,” said Ken Foster, Insituform’s vice president for Canada.
