Water Storage Tanks Focus of AWWA Webcast
Water professionals will learn how to assess water storage tank condition and adopt asset management maintenance programs during an American Water Works Association (AWWA) Webcast at 1 p.m. EST on Dec. 10.
The Webcast "Water Storage Tanks: Operations and Maintenance" will cover the components of an effective water storage tank condition assessment and comprehensive water storage tank asset management programs. Additional topics will include examining the pros and cons of traditional tank maintenance procurement methods, as well as asset management programs, and managing water quality within the water storage tank.
Presenters include Mark H. Johnson, P.E., director of Metropolitan Water Operations and Maintenance at the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority and Randy L. Moore, vice president, Sales, for the Northern Region at Utility Service Company, Inc.
