Symposium to Address Air Pollution-Climate Change Policies

The Air Pollution Prevention Association, European Federation of Clean Air and Environmental Protection Associations, and International Union of Air Pollution Prevention and Environmental Protection Associations have organized a symposium for Nov. 6-7 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

For many reasons, air pollution and climate change issues have not been treated in an integrated manner despite the fact that scientific knowledge indicates clearly that air quality and climate change require a coordinated approach, through reasoned and consistent policies.

The symposium seeks to attract attention to the need for better integration on these policies and catalyze energy by providing an opportunity for debate on the scientific basis between the actors concerned: scientists, policy makers, industry, local authorities, and civil society.
