Firm to Offer Plasma Reactor Technology to Scrap Tire Companies
Kerry Associates will be introducing W2 Energy Inc.'s Plasma Reactor Technology (PRT) to scrap tire management companies throughout the New England area, according to a Sept. 23 press release.
PRT is a unique cogeneration technology that effectively converts solid waste into electrical or thermal energy. Wastes (feedstock) that may be converted into electricity by the PRT process include sorted municipal solid waste (MSW), agricultural waste, de-watered sludge, and chipped tires.
Eric Cousens, chief executive officer of Kerry Associates, Inc. said, "The United States generates over 290 million scrap tires annually. We are aggressively seeking joint venture relationships with companies in the scrap tire industry. Plasma Reactor Technology is a viable alternative to the use of fossil fuels and will help further reduce our dependency on foreign oil."
W2 Energy Inc. is a growing, publicly traded company that develops renewable energy technologies and applies it to new generation power systems. Kerry Associates Inc. is a private business consulting firm that provides business plan development, valuations, financial services, mergers and acquisitions, and supply and distribution networks.
