Tetra Tech Earns Navy Biological Resources Contract

Tetra Tech, Inc. announced on Sept. 5 that it was a $50-million contract to perform biological resources management services for the U.S. Navy. The work will be performed primarily within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command's area of responsibility, which includes the continental United States, Europe, southwest Asia, and the Caribbean. This single-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has one base year and four one-year options.

The company will provide biological resources management services in accordance with a variety of federal, state, and host nation environmental regulations. This work will include wetlands delineations and studies, coastal zone management, marine resources services, benthic and water quality studies, threatened and endangered species surveys, and natural resources planning services, among other services.
