CH2M Hill Hires Oerke

CH2M Hill, an engineering, construction, and operations firm, announced Sept. 4 that David W. Oerke, P.E. has joined the firm as a principal technologist.

With more than 29 years of water, wastewater, and biosolids project planning and facility design experience, Oerke will bring added depth to the Global Wastewater Technology Practice's Residuals Management Team based in the Denver office.

Formerly vice president/senior project manager with Tetra Tech RTW and residuals management specialist with Black & Veatch, Oerke has experience with biosolids management studies and evaluation and design of solids processing facilities for more than 100 municipalities.

He received a master's degree in environmental engineering from Marquette University and a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Oerke is professionally registered in Colorado and an active member of the Water Environment Federation Residuals and Biosolids National Committee and the Rocky Mountain Water Environmental Association Biosolids Committee.
