EPA Advisory Council to Discuss Communications Issues

The National Drinking Water Advisory Council will meet on Nov. 15 and 16 to consider communications issues related to drinking water, including how to communicate effectively during a crisis.

EPA staff also will provide information about efforts in these areas. The council will receive updates about several ongoing projects, including the third Contaminant Candidate List, Geologic Sequestration and the Total Coliform Rule/Distribution System Federal Advisory Committee.

More information about the meetings can be found in an Oct. 31 Federal Register notice at www.epa.gov/fedrgstr/EPA-WATER/2007/October/Day-31/w21444.htm.
