AIHA launches new OEHS online auction site

The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) announced recently that it has launched OEHS AuctionCentral, a new occupational and environmental health and safety online auction Web site.

This central marketplace will allow users to buy and sell new gently used professional equipment like gas monitors, noise dosimeters and other instruments.

This new service is open to all OEHS professionals. OEHS AuctionCentral will provide a new outlet for equipment sales, as well as a way to earn money on items for which an individual or company no longer have use.

The system is designed to be easy to use and offers international translation options to allow buyers and sellers to take full advantage of the global nature of the Web. AIHA members who use OEHS AuctionCentral will pay a $19.99 insertion fee, as well as 3 percent of the final sale value for any item listed. Nonmembers will pay $39.99 and 5 percent of the final sale value for any item listed. If an item does not sell, there will not be a final sale charge and the seller will be entitled to re-list one time for free. Secure payment options are available.
