Lean Manufacturing: How using an EHS Software can make it a reality

Environmental, Health & Safety Managers are faced everyday with organizational objectives that seem to compete for their time. Today you likely work in an organization that has embraced the concepts of Lean Manufacturing. You are committed to that goal, but feel overwhelmed with the ever growing demands of your EHS Compliance responsibilities. Your to-do list keeps growing and the number of daily activities has reached the point where you have difficulty keeping up with what was done yesterday and what is on the table for today. On top of all of that, you feel the pressure of hard reporting deadlines set by Government Regulations. If anything, you need more help, not less, but the Budget hasn’t grown any and you have been asked to make cuts to already approved projects. Does this sound like you?

Join us on February 9th, 2011, 2:00 PM Eastern Time for a webinar that features a roundtable discussion between J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. officers and their consultants as they examine the steps undertaken by JBPCO toward a viable solution to the issues above.

Specific topics discussed will be the following:

  • EHS Compliance issues related to data collection, onsite Audits, EHS tasks management and EHS Reporting prior to having an EHS Compliance Software.
  • The process of choosing an EHS Compliance Software vendor.
  • How the implementation process was accomplished and the real benefits of software automation.
  • How the utilization of EHS software systems actually reduced EHS Departmental costs, eliminated NOV’s, made the department more efficient and ensured accurate reporting.

Come learn how the J.B. Poindexter Company transformed a difficult EHS Compliance situation into what their Board of Directors now views as a positive contributor to a leaner, more sustainable organization.
