Munters’ DryCool Standard allows users to control temperature and humidity independently. The product is designed to treat 100 percent makeup air and can work in conjunction with an existing air-conditioning system or energy recovery ventilator. The unit controls humidity on an as-needed basis, when humidity levels exceed setpoint. It has the capacity to process between 1,000 and 16,000 cfm of makeup air.
Munters’ Oasis indirect evaporative cooling system uses a corrosion-resistant polymer heat exchanger to produce dry, cool air without refrigeration. Best suited for hot, dry climates, the system treats makeup air for 50 percent less energy and provides cooling energy recovery and winter heat recovery. The product assists in reducing peak demand loads.
EXAIR’s Type 316 Stainless Steel Super Air Knife is designed for blocking harmful vapors and fumes on plating operations, blowing corrosive chemicals off parts, drying pharmaceutical products, and cooling hot materials such as molten glass, castings and molded parts. The collector is a pre-wired unit with a low-noise fan (less than 70 dB), controls, motor starter, filters and cleaning system. It contains four HemiPleat® flame-retardant filter cartridges with 788 square feet of media. The automatic, reverse-pulse cleaning system is activated by an on-demand control panel. A safety monitoring filter is included to allow recirculation of the filtered air downstream for energy savings.

Parker domnick hunter’s PNEUDRI MiDAS is a mini dry air system that provides plant engineers uninterrupted clean and dry compressed air. The unit contains a particulate filter and a desiccant cartridge inside a single module. The product features top-end re-pressurization and a quick-release top cap arrangement that does not require inlet/outlet ports to be disconnected. The unit is available at a pressure dew point of -40
or -100 degrees Fahrenheit, and at flow rates of 3- to 20-scfm at 100 psig.
EXAIR’s Adjustable E-Vac® series of compressed air-powered vacuum generators adjust vacuum and flow rates to suit application requirements. The vacuum pumps are designed for a variety of box opening, clamping, lifting, chucking and surface mounting applications. The new ST50 Remote Mount Flow Meter from Fluid Components International features an intelligent, no-moving parts thermal mass flow sensor design. It measures air flow from 1 to 125 SFPS, nitrogen from 1 to 150 SFPS, and compressed air from 4 to 400 SFPS. Accuracy is +1% of reading, +0.5% of full scale, with repeatability of +0.5% of reading. This meter is designed to work in crowded equipment or hazardous plant areas where explosives, flammable, or toxic gases may be present.

The TUFF™ line of personal air sampling pumps from Casella USA features a sealed case with rubber over-molding that protects internal electronics from moisture, extreme temperatures, solvents, and impact. The Series DX Slurry Knife Gate Valve is designed for heavy slurry applications in the power and mining industries. When the valve opens, the reinforced elastomer sleeves seal against each other and provide a 100 percent full port opening, minimizing turbulence and wear. The seats isolate and protect all metal parts from the process. Each time the strokes, the valve discharges a small amount of slurry, keeping the gate path and seat area clear of entrapped particulates.
Diesel Particulate Filter
The California Air Resources Board has verified the Rypos DPF/Low Emission Transport Refrigeration Unit (Level 2 Plus) diesel particulate filter for use on most trailer transport refrigeration units (TRUs) using 2002 and older model year engines. The self-cleaning diesel exhaust filter uses an electrically conductive sintered metal fiber medium and electrical power from the TRU to regenerate the filter when needed. It is microprocessor controlled with a backpressure control system, an electrical control circuit, and a backpressure warning indicator.

VICI Metronics’ Dynacalibrator® Model 150 is a constant temperature system designed to generate precise ppm or ppb concentrations of chemical compounds in a gas stream, using permeation devices as the trace gas source. It is used as a reference for the calibration of gas chromatography instruments and in other instruments that measure gas concentrations.
A passivated Inertium® coated stainless steel permeation chamber houses the permeation device(s), with measured inert carrier gas sweeping the calibration gas/vapor from the chamber. The digital temperature controller maintains the chamber temperature at a setpoint with an accuracy of ±0.01°C, traceable to NIST standards. Reduced flow path volume permits low concentration generation of mercury, water, and other difficult-to- work-with materials.
