Encore Green Environmental Teams with Texas A&M University Kingsville
Joint initiative aims to improve environmental restoration and sustainability.

Texas-based Encore Green Environmental and Texas A&M University-Kingsville have jointly announced a partnership to create and implement environmental restoration and sustainability initiatives.
According to a release dated Sept. 20, these two organizations will work together to foster development in agricultural and environmental research and application. Encore Green—recognized for its patented Conservation By-Design process—focuses on repurposing produced water for agricultural use. Meanwhile, Texas A&M University-Kingsville is a public research institution with a history of pioneering work in agricultural research and development.
“We welcome Encore Green as a practitioner of utilizing beneficial water for agriculture,” Dr. Shad D. Nelson, dean of Texas A&M’s Dick and Mary Lewis Kleberg College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. “Our highly esteemed research faculty in the Colleges of Agriculture and Engineering will benefit from our working partnership to help advance water conservation and environmental protection for our Texas agricultural communities. They, in turn, will benefit from our research and academic advances.”
This joint venture emerges as water management, soil health improvement and sustainability remain increasingly hot-button issues. Encore Green and Texas A&M University-Kingsville aim to tackle these environmental challenges head-on, driving toward a comprehensive ecological solution.
