ASCE Seeks Comment on Wastewater Infrastructure Security
The American Society of Civil Engineers' Environmental and Water Resources Institute is conducting a public comment period on Guidelines for the Physical Security of Wastewater Utilities. The period will end May 20.
The standard applies to physical security for wastewater collection and treatment systems (also known as sanitary sewer collection and treatment systems) as well as stormwater systems; it covers wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, pumping stations, and wastewater/stormwater system support facilities.
