Traceable Digital Thermometer
Control Company's Traceable Digital Hygrometer/Thermometer/Dew Point instrument provides a response time of under 10 seconds with a resolution of 0.01% RH, 0.01°F/°C, and 0.01° dew point °F/°C. It samples one-and-a-half times per second. Results are reported in both °F and °C from –40.00 to 220.0°F (–40.00 to 104.0°C) temperature, and from –40.00 to 140.0°F (–40.00 to 60.00°C) dew point. Temperature resolution is 0.01° with an accuracy of ±0.4°C. High and low alarms can be programmed in dew point/frost point, temperature, and humidity. When an out-of-range condition is sensed, an alarm sounds and the display flashes. Computer output permits data to be captured, transferred, stored, and printed. Memory recalls both minimum and maximum readings in dew point/frost point, temperature, and humidity at any time.

Fluid Imaging Technologies' FlowCAM PV Series imaging particle analysis system features two new analyzers, the FlowCAM PV-5x and FlowCAM PV-10x, that are pre-configured to promote maximum speed, efficiency, accuracy and repeatability in laboratories where analyses are performed on products and/or on particles. The analyzers can detect thousands of particles and microorganisms, in a sample, in less than a minute, and take a hi-resolution, full color digital image of each one detected while measuring them based on the actual size and shape of the images and characterizing them with up to 32 different parameters - all in real-time.

Signet 9900 SmartPro Transmitter
GF Piping Systems' Signet 9900 SmartPro Transmitter provides a single-channel interface for multiple parameters. The single-channel, multi-parameter capability and field-upgradable modularity allows distributors and OEMs to increase service levels while maintaining reduced inventories. A key feature is its extra large (3.90" x 3.90") backlit display. The display shows separate lines for units, main and secondary measurements as well as a dial-type digital bar graph. Other capabilities include relay and warning LEDs and an intuitive menu for easy programming. Optional modules include relay, direct conductivity/resistivity, HART Communications (H COMM), and a PC configuration tool (PC COMM). Offered in both panel and mount versions. Its multi-parameter and modular capabilities make the unit well suited for a variety of applications including water and wastewater treatment, reverse osmosis, deionization, chemical dosing and delivery, metal and plastic finishing, fume scrubbers, cooling towers, and all types of filtration.

The EPM-4 and EPM-6 models are the latest editions to the EPM Series of quarter-turn reversing electric actuators. The EPM-4 and EPM-6 are designed to eliminate wiring errors, increase reliability and provide simplicity during installation. The EPM-4 provides a torque output of 455 in-lb./ 50 Nm, and the EPM-6 an output of 600 in-lb./67 Nm. Both models feature a robust gear train design and modular construction, as well as a NEMA 4/4X enclosure. Additional features include aluminum alloy dry powder coated housing, internal low power heater, four limit switches (2 Auxiliary), ISO5211 F07 mounting pattern, data logging and diagnostics,(proportional control only) for EPM-6 and CSA listed.

The Signet 4630 Free-Chlorine Analyzer System from GF Piping Systems is designed with amperometric sensing technology that incorporates a clear flow cell, flow regulator, sensors, filter and rotameter all in one compact unit. The fully integrated system provides a turnkey solution for accurately measuring free chlorine. The analyzer features pre-wired electronics, a 120 VAC power plug, two 4 to 20 mA outputs and two mechanical relays. It also offers the ability to have manual or continuous pH compensation that allows for highly accurate free chlorine readings.
The AND1000 Fluorimeter enables field testing in two short steps, eliminating or significantly reducing test expenditures, complexity and wait times experienced in traditional heavy metal water testing. ANDalyze's proprietary catalytic DNA sensors use a DNAzyme reaction that fluoresces in the presence of a target contaminant substance such as lead, uranium, copper and mercury. The fluorescence of the reaction is dynamically measured to determine the concentration of the target heavy metal at levels in the low parts per billion (ppb).

Parker Hannifin Corporation’s THM Analyzer is an on-site analytical system that measures trihalomethane (THM) concentration at ppb levels in less than 30 minutes. It is an integrated Purge-and-Trap Gas Chromatograph (GC) that can help operators optimize water treatment at the plant and evaluate water age in the distribution system for improved control over the formation of THMs. The THM Analyzer was designed for high-precision, high accuracy measurement of THM and offers a full complement of calibration and quantization routines. Analyzer calibration is streamlined with detailed menu options, while push-button operation provides sample purging, THM component separation, and data analysis.

Rosemount Analytical WQP Systems
Emerson’s Rosemount Analytical WQP Systems measure in real time fluoride, ammonia, ammonia and monochloramine, and ammonia and fluoride together. The systems are reagent- and pump-free, reducing both the initial cost and maintenance, and they are based on ion monitoring technology. Their menu-driven industrial ion selective analyzer is capable of calibrating, outputting, displaying and controlling in ppm units. The systems come pre-configured, pre-calibrated and qualified to install, plug in, and immediately place in service.
Real UV254 Hi-Pure / Security Online Monitor
Real Tech’s Real UV254 Hi-Pure / Security Online monitors detect trace amounts of organic contamination in finished drinking waters and high-purity waters in real time. The monitors use the company’s Split-Sense Pro technology to provide sensitivity and reliability at a fraction of the cost of alternative organics monitors, such as TOC. The U.S. EPA National Homeland Security Research Centre’s Technology Testing and Evaluation Program recently evaluated the product and found it had great success at detecting accidental/intentional contamination events in drinking water distribution systems. The monitor also has applications in ultrapure industrial processes.
Spectrophotometer and Fluorometer
Forston Labs’ NavSpec™ Plus Spectrophotometer and Fluorometer allows the user to collect a full wavelength spectrum (absorbance, percent transmittance, or intensity) in less than one second. Once the peak wavelength is determined, the user can determine the concentration of a solution or monitor rates of reaction. The optical range is 380 to 950 nm (VIS-NIR), and the meter has an optical resolution of 2.5 nm.
MIDAC’s open path Fourier transform infrared spectrometers can measure extreme path lengths, which enables users to analyze methane, carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide with up to single-digit ppb detection limits. A 60-inch source array sends an infrared beam to a receiving telescope that can be more than a kilometer away; the spectrometer measures the air between them.
Sulfide Ion Detector Tubes
The Gastec Sulfide Ion in Solution Detector Tube No. 211 from Nextteq detects sulfide ion levels in solution. With the easy-to-use system, direct-reading tubes produce a quantitative color-stain that quickly pinpoints problem areas in two to three minutes. The calibration scale, printed directly on each tube, provides on-the-spot results. The Gastec sulfide ion tube requires no color comparison chart or laboratory equipment to determine results. The colorstain ends with a clearly defined line of demarcation to further eliminate confusion.
Universal Toroidal Sensors
Electro-Chemical Devices' Universal Toroidal Sensors measure multiple individual liquid parameters for industrial process and manufacturing operations. The ECD Models S10 and S17 measure pH, ORP, DO, Resistivity and Conductivity. The sensors feature a small diameter configuration design and support applications in many industries. Model S10 is an immersion or insertion sensor, and the S17 is a valve retractable sensor. The sensors have a 0.75-inch diameter PVDF body and a universal diameter that can fit into existing devices without needing to re-plumb the flow cell.

It provides direct, visual observation of materials under conditions that may be controlled precisely by the researcher. Experiments may be performed in liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide or in other compressed gases. Additionally, the effect of co-solvents on the solubility of compounds of interest in supercritical carbon dioxide can be investigated.
