Texas Lawmakers OK High Efficiency Toilet Bill
The Texas legislature recently passed HB 2667, which specifies performance standards for plumbing fixtures.
Second only to California, the Texas bill requires that toilets sold on or after Jan. 1, 2014 must be 1.28 gallons per flush or less.
The bill was sent to the governor's office on May 26.
