EPA to Hold Sessions on PFAS Strategic Roadmap
Each of the 11 sessions—with two having already passed—will be held virtually.

In the next two months, EPA will be holding multiple listening sessions on the PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) Strategic Roadmap.
During each of the eleven virtual sessions (two of which have already passed), each covering a different region, with one covering Tribes, attendees will learn about the EPA’s progress under the PFAS Strategic Roadmap and how it applies to that specific region or Tribe and will be able to make comments, according to a news release.
“In EPA’s PFAS Strategic Roadmap, we committed to transparent, equitable, and inclusive engagement with all stakeholders to inform the Agency’s work,” said Radhika Fox, Assistant Administrator for Water and co-chair of EPA’s Council on PFAS in the news release.
“By hearing directly from communities, we will better understand how PFAS contamination affects individuals’ lives and livelihoods and can better ensure that communities have equitable access to solutions—especially Tribal communities and communities with environmental justice concerns,” Fox continued.
A list of all the sessions and corresponding areas can be found on the EPA’s Regional PFAS Community Engagement Sessions. Registration is open for select sessions.
Late last year, EPA published A Year of Progress Under EPA’s PFAS Strategic Roadmap, outlining the actions that were taken from 2021 to 2022.
