Free, Online Energy Conference Features Federal Authorities

The Virtual Energy Forum, the online conference dedicated to renewable energy, sustainability and energy-efficient practices in Fortune 1000 businesses, announced a slate of respected keynote speakers, including Ira Magaziner, chair of the Clinton Climate Initiative; Jon Wellinghoff, chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission; and Gary Locke, secretary, U.S. Department of Commerce.

Several speakers will be presenting live via Webcast directly from the 21st edition of the Energy Efficiency Forum, held annually at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. Online attendees of the Virtual Energy Forum will be able to have questions answered live by Energy Efficiency Forum speakers, all from the convenience of a computer.

Additional presentations at the Virtual Energy Forum feature case studies of energy-efficient practices in business, such as that by Heather Henriksen, director of the Office for Sustainability, Harvard University on “Sustainability Strategies at Harvard University” or “Design for the Future: Zero Energy / Renewable Energy,” a presentation detailing a $5.7 billion construction and renovation project led by Larry Eisenberg, executive director for Facilities Planning and Development for the Los Angeles Community College District.
