Pew Center's Roy to Speak at Auditing Roundtable

The Auditing Roundtable, a professional association dedicated to the practice of Environmental, Health & Safety, and Sustainability (EHS/S) Auditing, announces “Laws, Regulation, and Standards” as the theme of its Fall 2009 meeting, to be held Sept. 8 - 11 in Baltimore, Md.

Manik “Nikki” Roy, vice president for Federal Government Outreach with Pew Center for Global Climate Change, will discuss the climate change legislation pending in Congress and EPA’s proposed greenhouse gas reporting rule, endangerment finding and regulatory schedule, and their implications for compliance assurance and auditing. Leslie Carothers, president, Environmental Law Institute speaking on ELI’s perspective on new EHS/S laws, regulations, policy trends, and standards.
