HDR Promotes D'Adamo to East Region Drinking Water Lead
HDR has promoted Peter D'Adamo to the Water Business Group's drinking-water lead for the East Region, according to a July 18 press release.
Glen Ellmers, director of the Water Business Group's East Region, said D'Adamo's work the past two years in developing a drinking water program for the Carolinas made him a natural to lead the charge of growing the same program in the East Region. Ellmers said the Carolinas program has grown from $300,000 in revenue to more than $3 million under D'Adamo's leadership.
D'Adamo has more than 31 years experience as an environmental engineer and scientist and has been directly responsible for the planning, evaluation, design, and construction management of numerous water and wastewater treatment and utility projects. In addition, he has designed and provided construction management services for sanitary sewers, vacuum sewers, low pressures sewers, force mains, water transmission mains, sewage and booster pumping stations, storage facilities, and water distribution systems.
He holds a doctor of philosophy degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Md., a master of science in engineering from the University of Delaware in Newark, and a bachelor of science in biology from Loyola College, Baltimore, Md.
