Peroxides Prevention Product
XPell, a product that indicates and prevents the formation of peroxides in organic solvents, removes the need for periodic testing and disposal of peroxide-forming solvents. Use of this inorganic material improves laboratory safety, helps to prevent peroxide-related explosions/accidents, and extends the life of solvents. The hold button freezes the reading on the display. The high contrast, easy to read 3/8-inch-high LCD digits simultaneously display oxygen concentration and temperature. Humidity and Temperature
The HTZ Smart HART®
Humidity and Temperature Transmitter from Moore Industries simultaneously measures temperature and humidity in closely monitored processes, such as those found in clean rooms, assembly areas, and storage facilities at pharmaceutical, semiconductor, food processing, and biotechnology facilities. HART communications allows the unit to be programmed or queried from any point along one of the transmitter’s dual 4-20mA loops. Accuracy of the relative humidity measurements is up to ±0.75%RH, the temperature measurements is up to ±0.036°C, and the dewpoint calculation is within ±0.5°C.
The Grabner Miniflash is US D.O.T.-approved for the transportation classification of solids and liquids. The technology (ASTM D6450 & D7094) replaces older, methods like Pensky Martens (D93) and TAG (D56). It uses no open flames, and the 1.0 mL sample size is ideal for small test batches, which practically eliminates hazardous fumes and dramatically reduces laboratory wastes. Temperature ranges from: -25° to 400°C (-13° to 750°F). The unit is lightweight and portable and can be powered from a vehicle battery for both on-site and laboratory applications.
Liquid Handling Pumps
Cheminert Model M6 and M50 Liquid Handling Pumps are a new generation of pumps for precision handling of liquids and/or gases, producing a bidirectional pulseless flow with a range of over six orders of magnitude. These positive displacement pumps have no separate fill cycle, and the capacity is unlimited. RS-232 and RS-485 communication protocols are incorporated into the microprocessor-driven controller. (USB interface requires an adapter.) The included software package controls flow rates, flow direction, and metered volumes.

This product has low, 1 ppt detection limits, fast sample throughput, and high capacity. Its 270-position autosampler will enhance the productivity of any laboratory involved with mercury analysis. The unit incorporates new software that automates the analytical process from Method Development to Final Report Generation. Help is provided in the software including scheduled maintenance and audio/visual tutorials.
This analyzer also can be upgraded to direct solids analysis.

Model 150 Dynacalibrator®
VICI Metronics’ Dynacalibrator® Model 150 is a constant temperature system designed to generate precise ppm or ppb concentrations of chemical compounds in a gas stream, using permeation devices as the trace gas source. It is used as a reference for the calibration of gas chromatography instruments and in other instruments that measure gas concentrations.
A passivated Inertium® coated stainless steel permeation chamber houses the permeation device(s), with measured inert carrier gas sweeping the calibration gas/vapor from the chamber. The digital temperature controller maintains the chamber temperature at a setpoint with an accuracy of ±0.01°C, traceable to NIST standards. Reduced flow path volume permits low concentration generation of mercury, water, and other difficult-to- work-with materials.
